High school students do.
Greystone Academy in Newtown added Life Skills to its selection of high school classes this fall. Under the direction of Mr. Dustin Kuhns, students explore gardening, budgeting, digital hygiene, communication, job search skills, and much more. In addition to hands on experience, the Life Skills class activities provide a backdrop for guided discussion about important questions regarding individual responsibility to care for our environment, our finances, our homes, and our communities. While academics are key at Greystone Academy, the value of a healthy understanding of everyday skills is also promoted.
