On September 14th the speaker at the Thursday meeting of the Langhorne Rotary was U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, who updated the club members on Federal issues and concerns.

He was also available for questions. Langhorne Rotary appreciated Representative Fitzpatrick taking time out of his busy schedule to be with us. The club has, for many years, hosted Federal and local leaders for programs.

The Langhorne Rotary has been a supporter of the Peace Center in Langhorne for many years and encourages support for the Autumn Gala on Sunday, October 15, 5:00-8:00pm, at Spring Mill Manor, Ivyland. For information contact www.thepeacecenter.org.

The Langhorne Rotary will again this year participate in the Langhorne Harvest Fair on Saturday, October 28th on Maple Avenue.

Raffle baskets will be available. Proceeds will support the community and humanitarian projects of the Langhorne Rotary.

The Neshaminy High School Interact Club will provide face-painting for children at the Harvest Day to raise funds for the Rotary International effort to eradicate polio in the world.
