The Southampton Free Library, located at 947 Street Road, will hold its Used Book, DVD and CD Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 5th and 6th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
The event is open and free to the public.
Library Director Kim Ingram says that all of the proceeds from the two-day sale will benefit the library. “The public is invited to browse through the thousands of previously loved hardback and paperback books, audio books, puzzles CD’s and DVD’s which will be offered for sale,” she states. “We also will be conducting a special $5 per bag blowout sale from May 8th to 12th. I’d like to invite everyone, young and old, in our community to participate, have fun shopping and help us to raise much needed funds.”
In addition, the library is seeking donations of hardback and paperback books in good condition, children’s books, cookbooks, magazines, audio books, puzzles, as well as CD’s and DVD’s which will be offered during the sale.
Items for donation may be dropped off at the library.
“Please do not donate encyclopedias, National Geographic magazines, textbooks or VHS videos and audio cassette tapes,” Kim notes.
