Pennsbury teams compete at Odyssey of the Mind State Finals

Earlier this month six teams from the Pennsbury School District traveled 340 miles to Moon Township, PA, to compete in the Odyssey of the Mind Pennsylvania State Finals.

Although the weather was bad and the drive was long, spirits were high in anticipation of the competition. The teams included students from Afton Elementary, Manor Elementary, Makefield Elementary, Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary, Pennwood Middle School and Pennsbury High School.

The competition took place at Moon Area Schools and included 162 of the best teams from all over Pennsylvania.  All six Pennsbury teams gave 110%, resulting in their best performances of the season.

Only the top two teams from each problem and each division advances to the World Finals in May at Michigan State University.

Eleanor Roosevelt placed second and will be advancing to Worlds! An honorable mention went to Pennwood Middle School for placing third.
