CR North FBLA Women’s Leadership Team advances to States!

The Council Rock High School North Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Team came home from Delaware Valley University on December 14th with the largest number of Top Ten winners in a decade.

Beyond earning recognition for having the most top performers competing in over 40 events, the CR North FBLA Women’s Leadership Team scored their largest victory in recent history.

Competitors Nicole Jackson, Hailey Rosenfield, Lauren Rothschild, Olivia Boyle, Madison McDonnell, Josee Li, Ashley Yim, Connie Fang, Leya Ledvin, Lauren D’Amelia, Sherlin Narayanan, Lauren Mish, Olivia Buentello, Anne Johnson, Alisha Jhaveri, Kate McQuarrie, and Jen Lundgren all earned the top slots for their competitive events, making this one of the most memorable victories in over a decade.

Vincent Sherpinsky, CR North FBLA Club Advisor, stated, “These young women represent the best of Council Rock and their individual performance reflects the highest levels of hard work, dedication, and commitment to be successful.”

The team advances to States on April 2nd in Hershey, PA, to compete against over 600 high schools in 26 events. Those who qualify at States go on to Nationals in July. The CR North FBLA is the largest FBLA Chapter in Bucks County with over 148 members.

Student members have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and ability in various business-related events. Members compete in business-related events such as Accounting, Business Ethics, Communication, Cyber Security, Management, Marketing, Securities and Investment, and Web Design.
