Urge Fitness

The first Urge Fitness in Pennsylvania has opened its doors at 495B S. Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills. This full-service facility features over 20,000 square feet of a full-service fitness center with 24-hour access, childcare, a juice bar, and 70 plus classes per week, along with a youth and adult performance center.

However, its primary focus is family fitness.

“Our goal is for your entire family to come here together,” says General Manager, Matthew Budden. “We want children to come watch Mom and Dad work out and then follow their lead by doing the same. With child obesity out of control, it’s time for kids to put down their iPad and get fit in our friendly, welcoming environment.”

Even Urge Fitness’s childcare offers opportunities for young children to be active by providing Mommy and Me Yoga, Baby Zumba and Kids Boot Camp, available to children up to the age of 12. Five thousand square feet of this fitness center consists of turf and track, dedicated to the youth performance center, to be launched in January.

Within this large space, children ages seven through collegiate level are encouraged to participate in structured workouts, appropriate for youth who excel in sports and for those who just want to get into shape.

The group format consists of four to 10 children led by a certified personal trainer to engage kids in non-competitive fitness activities that promote strength, endurance, speed, agility and overall fitness. For athletic kids who play sports, certified personal trainers will work with them to improve their game or attain professional status. While your children are getting fit, you will too!

Urge Fitness offers the most cutting edge fitness classes in this area, such as aerial yoga, barre classes TRX classes, cycling classes and much more! You’ll also have access to the largest variety of cardio equipment in the area with over 50 pieces of equipment, including 10 different styles of elliptical machines, rowers, spin bikes and treadmills.

Also unique is Urge Fitness’s 20-foot high slam wall, giving you the ultimate workout. It’s built for slam ball workouts and for climbing.

The good news is you won’t pay a fortune to join this state-of-the art, family fitness center.

Urge Fitness has memberships starting as low as $19.99. They offer a small group training program with no more than four to 10 people in a session, enabling you to share the cost of the certified trainer. Urge Fitness also keeps its price down by offering six different membership packages to meet your individual needs and your budget.

They recognize that few members use all of their services, so they offer a choice of memberships that include a variety of different options. As a result, you won’t pay for amenities that you never use. Plus, Urge Fitness includes the price of their certified trainers into several of their membership packages, as opposed to charging an additional high fee for these trainers.

Urge Fitness is open 24/7, 365 days a week with no exceptions. Members receive key tags to access the center at any time. Twenty-four hour surveillance cameras will ensure you feel safe during late hours. Plus, their cleaning crew works overnight, so you’re rarely alone.

Urge Fitness isn’t planning to enroll thousands of members just to make money. Instead, they want to create a small community atmosphere.

“When you join, you become part of our program and part of our family,” says Matthew.

With this month’s opening, Urge Fitness is currently offering discounted, lower rates, zero enrollment fees to sign up and free months, depending on the membership package you choose. Free training sessions are also available. To register, visit www.urgefitness.com/fairless-hills or call 215-874-5700.
