Northampton Days

The 18th Annual Northampton Days Festival is scheduled for Sunday, September 7th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Council Rock’s Richboro Middle School, 98 Upper Holland Road in Richboro.

The celebration is held rain or shine and includes a parade, rides for kids, family games, a car show, food court, hayrides, vendor display tables, a blood drive and many other attractions. Free admission and no parking charge make this an easily accessible fun day for everyone. All net proceeds from the sale of tickets for rides, cost of food at the food court and other attractions go to financing the 2015 celebration.

The games are reasonably priced and are designed to make everyone a winner. There is a little bit of something for all ages from preschool to adults. Businesses, churches, local organizations and other interesting vendors selling creative items have display tables so it is an informational and fun gift buying day as well as well as an entertaining one.

The parade starts about noon at the intersection of Holland and Upper Holland roads and proceeds about a mile to the Richboro Middle School. Prizes will be awarded for creatively decorated bicycles and strollers that participate in the parade.

The talent show features local children and adults demonstrating the wealth of singing, dancing, acrobatic and other forms of talent here in Northampton Township.

The Northampton Days Committee is comprised of volunteers that work for months to get all the pieces together to provide a wonderful community event. There is always a need for extra volunteers to work on the day of the event and on the Committee, so feel free to contact Carol Dubas, the volunteer coordinator at, to join in the fun. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and to give back to the Northampton community.

Many students from Council Rock High School volunteer to fulfill LINCS hours for community service for graduation requirements. Advertisement books are handed out at the event, which contain coupons that will save people money at the food court. For more information visit or call 215-355-2158.
