Amanda Blum was honored earlier this year by the Shady Brook Rotary Club as the Student of the Month at Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne.
She was cited for her academic excellence and outstanding contribution to the community. Amanda was on the Maple Point Field Hockey Team, Soccer Team, and Track Team, and also played in the band.
In addition, Amanda has played for the Mystx Field Hockey Travel Club Team for two years and on the Panthers Neshaminy United Soccer Travel Team for the past seven years.
This summer Amanda is volunteering weekly at St. Mary’s Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit Family Room. In the fall, Amanda will attend Neshaminy High School where she plans to become a member of the band and play field hockey.
