High school juniors attending ‘Keystone Girls State’

Keystone Girls

Twenty-one high school juniors were recently selected to attend the 67th session of the American Legion Auxiliary’s program “Keystone Girls State” from June 24th-30th. The girls are from schools all over Montgomery and Bucks County.

Keystone Girls State is a leadership/Americanism program with a focus on our system of government.

Two of the 200 girls attending will be chosen to attend Girls Nation held in Washington, D.C. July 22nd-28th.

This year Keystone Girls State will be held at Shippensburg University, in Shippensburg, PA. Each girl is selected and sponsored by American Legion Auxiliaries across Montgomery and Bucks County.

This year Senator Tommy Tomlinson and the Middletown Community Foundation have been generous enough to sponsor a girl.
