Two hundred eighty-six cyclists participated with a 19-member motorcycle escort and support team to honor law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The annual bike tour was organized in 1997 by Officer Patrick P. Montuore of the Florham Park Police Department.
The tour is the single largest supporter of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, and founding partner in the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC.
