Stephen Robert Emerson, beloved son of Harriette and the late Robert Emerson of Churchville, died suddenly in a traffic accident Tuesday morning June 19th near New Orleans, Louisiana.
Stephen was born in Berwyn, Pennsylvania but lived in Churchville for 20 years, graduating from Council Rock High School in 1997. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving all over the world including two tours in Iraq with a Marine detachment as a Master at Arms, with his special explosive detecting dog, Dingo. Stephen will be remembered for his quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, mischievous ways to have fun, his exemplary work ethic, high moral values, his willingness to help anyone who needed help and devotion to his family.
