The Banshees Red Fastpitch Softball 12U team, based in Horsham, were a recent finalist in the USSSA 2012 Spring Fling World Series Qualifier held in Easton, PA on April 14th and 15th. Being a finalist secures the Banshees a berth to the USSSA World Series (its second berth) to be played in Orlando, FL in July. Behind superb pitching from Marisa Browne and Emily Gillard, the “young” Banshees rode all the way to the final game before being defeated by the PA Shooting Stars Blue squad (Lititz, PA).
