The Pennsbury Falcons Cheerleading Association (PFCA) ended its 2011-2012 season with top honors last month with all four of the organization’s squads winning national championships throughout the season.
At the national cheerleading competition, “Reach the Beach,” held in Ocean City, Maryland, three of PFCA’s competition squads came in first place, winning national championship titles in their respective divisions: Pee Wee (ages 10 and under), Youth (ages 12 and under), and Juniors (ages 14 and under).
The Juniors squad was also awarded Grand Champions and the highly coveted Judge’s Choice Award for their flawless performance.
At a second national competition, “Battle at the Capitol,” held in Fairfax, Virginia, PFCA’s Juniors won their second national championship of the season, placing first in their division.
Adding the perfect finishing touch to the organization’s amazing season, the newly-created Mini squad (ages eight and under with a minimum age requirement of kindergarten enrollment) also came in first place, winning a national championship in their first year as a PFCA squad.
