Morrisville First will be holding their first annual food drive on Saturday, May 18th, rain or shine, at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church parking lot accessible from either 771 North Pennsylvania Avenue or West Trenton Avenue. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Items on the wish list are: spaghetti, various pastas, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned meats and tuna, cereal, soups, macaroni and cheese, rice, and beans. Please keep in mind that glass containers or very large containers are a bit more difficult to handle.Also needed are non-food items such as: toilet paper, disposable razors, soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby food, diapers, and formula.

The annual Morrisville spring carnival comes to Williamson Park, located at N. Delmorr Avenue and E. Bridge Street, May 14th through May 19th. This community event, which has attracted thousands from all over the Delaware Valley, will feature thrill rides, carnival games, food, live entertainment and more. Hours of operation will be 6:00 to 10:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights; 6:00 to 11:00pm on Friday night, 2:00pm to 11:00pm on Saturday, and 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday.

There will be all new special pricing available all week. The price of ride tickets has been lowered to $.75 per ticket, $18 for 25 tickets, and $50 for 70 tickets. The Morrisville Carnival will offer a $20 wristband giving unlimited rides. Free parking will be available at entrances along Delmorr Avenue (Route 32/ River Road). Money raised from this event will benefit the many service projects, both locally and internationally, of the Morrisville-Yardley Area Rotary Club. As twilight descends upon the historic village of Fallsington May 18th join us for an evening of gaiety and charm as we host Twilight In Fallsington! A memorable evening (5:00 - 8:00 pm) featuring delectable hors d'oeuvres from favorite local eateries, wine & beer to quench your thirst, a unique ''behind-the-scenes" peak at the Stagecoach Tavern. Step up to our professional caricaturist, who guarantees that all those who dare will go home with the "perfect party favor" a fun and flattering likeness! Plenty of door prizes will round out the evening.

Tickets are priced at only $35.00; reservations are encouraged since space is limited. However, if need be, tickets may be purchased at the door. All proceeds from this event will benefit the programs of Historic Fallsington, Inc., which is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and heritage of this 300-year-old village.
